Our primary intention is to use design and entrepreneurship as a means of service to others. In many ways, the BURKINA Collection is a culmination of this principle, cultivated throughout the preceding years since the label’s genesis. Our partnership with the Ethical Fashion Initiative brought us to Burkina Faso’s capital of Ouagadougou and into direct, tangible collaboration with the artisans of CABES - a social enterprise composed of extraordinary artisans and textile makers.

The collection itself is born from the sensibilities of the people and landscapes that we observed and met in Burkina Faso. In an effortless blend of traditional, West African dress intermixed with sportswear and western influences, BURKINA is a testament to the craftsmanship of the CABES community and ultimately, the contemporary, sartorial articulation of the Burkinabé people.
