Purgation campaign

Through the release of strong suppressed emotions, the Purgation Collection becomes a personal representation of identifying and countering censored consciousness. Looking at our African backdrop as a source of inspiration, we conceptualized this season’s collection on the artisanal tapestries of our indigenous African Iconography & Print-Work. The aim was to identify a true reflection and expression on the desire of a contemporary interpretation of our African heritage. Creating three distinct prints that coexist in one another; The precisely designed pieces seamlessly flow into a nostalgic African narrative that celebrates the history and the power of story-telling. It was imperative for us to approach the sensitive subject with a well-informed background, creating timeless pieces that evoke a modern identity that coexists here in the heart of Africa.
